Waycon Manufacturing is led by a group of experienced engineers and tradespeople equipped with extensive tooling and equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Labourer Material Handler to join our team. Suitable candidates will require industrial yard maintenance and forklift operations experience, ideally in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. To meet our standards in safety and quality, candidates for our shop labourer jobs must be organized, physically fit, take pride in their work, and pay close attention to detail.

Skills
  • Strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Experience in material handling.
  • Industrial yard experience.
  • Ability to carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Detail-oriented and highly precise in quality assurance.
Duties
  • Clean parts and work areas.  
  • Ensure safe and efficient delivery of production materials and supplies to work areas. 
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery, including loading and unloading trucks. 
  • Preparing finished products for shipping, including sorting, packing, crating and packaging materials and products. 
  • Delivery and pick up of materials. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required.
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of labour experience.
  • 1 year of material handling experience.
  • A valid forklift certificate.
Job Requirements
  • Valid clean driver’s license. 
  • Hold safety and high-quality standards in workmanship.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Hours
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
