Waycon Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson to support the engineering team by producing accurate, complete drawing packages for fabrication and machining. This role is critical to ensuring project accuracy from engineering and production.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks and technical drafting for manufacturing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with Excel, BOM management, and data/document management systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Duties
- Create, revise, and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings for machining and fabrication projects.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are accurate, practical, and shop ready.
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), production documentation and revision records.
- Assist engineering and production teams with day-to-day updates, drawing changes, and documentation support.
- Ensure drawing and document control standards are maintained.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma or related field.
- Experience preparing technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
- Experience with SolidWorks.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based engineering environment.
